It is hard to believe that China is still a communist country because it doesn't seem like the focus is to share work and goods. More and more Chinese people of the upper and middle class are obsessed with luxury items. Last year, the Swiss luxury brand company Richemont reported that its company profits increased by 23 percent after opening its Cartier and Montblanc stores in China. Richemont is the second largest luxury brand company coming after LVMH which owns Givenchy, Louis Vuitton and Dior. China is currently the second largest buyer of luxury brand products in the world and it is expected in the next five years that it will be at the top. It also makes the most fakes or knock-offs of luxury products like Dior, Prada, and Louis Vuitton in the world. Shanghai has a huge department store that sells only fake items like Le Sportsac bag, fake True Religion jeans and even fake Calvin Klein underwear.
